I found an error on my sales tax return for how we calculate sales tax for some of the clothes we sell. How can I fix this mistake?

You need to file an amended sales tax return with the Alabama Department of Revenue to correct the mistake. Please note that the report should be marked as "AMENDED" and you should include the Confirmation Number assigned to the original tax return. You should also remit any additional tax, penalty and interest due.
