I will be filing the Form 5405 for the 1st time homebuyer Tax Credits. However, I did not file a 2008 tax return, nor will I be filing a 2009 return because I am a full-time student with no taxable income. (I'm buying the house on contract). The form says to attach to your Federal 1040 return. What do I do?

You must file your Form 1040, along with the Form 5405, to claim the
tax credit.
